How do group bookings work?

Complete the form with your group details, including the type of group, number of visitors and preferred date.

The MIC team will review your request and send you a confirmation email within 24–48 hours.

Come to MIC on the confirmed date and time. Payment for group visits is made on site only; online payment is not available.

Bookings must be made at least 3 days in advance.
Group visits: Wednesday–Friday at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00 and 13:00. Visit duration: 45 minutes.
Payment is made on site only, by cash or card.
Visits are available in Romanian and English.

MIC is designed for children aged 10 months to 12 years, accompanied by an adult. The museum includes experiences for different age groups, from sensory areas for babies and toddlers up to age 3 to interactive technical installations and more complex 3D puzzles for older children.
MIC is located in Gallery B2 of the Maria Theresia Bastion, in central Timișoara, close to Union Square (Piața Unirii). You’ll find us on the western side of the Bastion – look for the colourful MIC sign.

Public transport is the easiest way to reach MIC, especially when visiting with children and if you would rather avoid looking for parking.
Nearest stops to the Bastion:
Trams 1, 2 and 4: get off at Piața Libertății. MIC is approximately a 5–7 minute walk from the stop..
Trolleybuses 11, 14, 17 and 18: get off at Piața Mărăști, approximately a 6–8 minute walk from MIC.
Metropolitan buses: get off at Bastion, just a 2–3 minute walk from the museum entrance.

General Admission tickets purchased online are valid for one year from the date originally selected.
Our tip
Arrive 5–10 minutes early so you can make the most of the full time allocated to your group visit or activity.
Strollers are welcome inside the building, and a dedicated stroller parking area is available near the entrance. For safety and to keep the exhibition areas easy to move through, strollers may not be used while exploring the exhibition itself.
MIC has modern restrooms and a dedicated baby-changing table.
